We bought this size "travel kage" when we had a single ferret that didn't get along with the rest of the ferrets. This cage worked well for him until we could get him integrated with the rest. Additionally, we've used this cage as a substitute for a carrier for those trips to the vet. It fits easily in the back seat of our car! And it also works well for "quarantees" of individual ferrets, if need be.
