Ferrets are obligate carnivores (meat eaters) and require a food that contains a good source of animal protein and animal fat. Cat and kitten foods are not designed, nor tested for ferrets and do not contain the right amount of animal protein, fats, vitamins or minerals required to keep your ferret healthy. Selecting the right food for your ferret is one of the most important decisions you will make for your pet. Please choose wisely and become informed and educated regarding the food you feed your ferret.
