All cages are constructed with the ferret and owner in mind. The shelves have a raised lip so bedding won't slip off; large doors for ease of cleaning those hard to reach corners; and ramps are raised off of the floor. Built with 2"x1", 14-gauge, black vinyl-coated wire. Doors, ramps and shelves are finished with black plastic strips. The floor and shelves are covered with Plas-Tex^TM (a non-toxic, waterproof, bacterial resistant panel -- easy to clean). Door latches are secure so no ferret escapes! Doors are large enough to climb in (if you like)! Our Kages come with 1 clear litter pan that fits the width of the Kage and slides out for easy cleaning. Partial assembly required on cages being shipped.
